در تابستان سال ۸۹ کار این مجموعه با انتخاب چهار منطقه از شهر تهران شروع شد.
انتخاب مسیرها به این معنا که از کدام راه باید رفت بر اساس شهودی تجربی پیش می رفت و بیشتر اوقات اولویت با مسیرهای فرعی و حاشیه ای بود. راههایی که به نوعی مرزهای نامریی محله ها هستند. شکافهایی که در هر کجای شهر به گونه ای تازه راهی از میان محله ها باز می کنند. در این راهها مکانهایی نامعمول یافت می شود که میل عکاس را برای تصاحب همه چیز، همان طور که هست، برمی انگیزد.
پس از مدتی تکه هایی از شهر بدست آمد که جهانی متفاوت از واقعیت رسمی تهران بود. شکلی از شهر که ارتباطی روشن و ملزوم با تصویرش ندارد. شکلی که برآمده از ویژگیهای قابل شمارش شهر نیست. نه از آن وام میگیرد و نه به آن وام دارد. شکل شهر است در حال خودش. شکل شهر که » آن جا » ست.
تکه هایی که از بسترشان جدا شده اند، بار دیگر پیوستگی را تجربه می کنند. پیوندی در جهت ساخت واقعیتی دیگر، که در موازات واقعیت متکثر شهر تهران است.

Work on this series entered upon in the summer of the year 2010, by selecting four zones in the city of Tehran
Choosing the routes inside the zones was decided out of an experimental intuition and in most of the cases odd streets and byways were preferred. The passages that somehow are the invisible borders of the zones, the splits which break new passages through the zones all over the city. In these routes, uncommon places might come across which can unleash the desire of a photographer to acquire each and everything in its own naked reality
After a while, certain pieces of the city were collected, displaying the world quite contrary to the official reality of Tehran. A form of a city with no clear and relevant connection to its picture, a form not originated from the countable particulars of the city, neither a borrower nor a lender. An image of the city in its own state of being, a form of the city which is “there”
Those pieces detached from their context do experience the continuity once again. A union which tends to construct another reality in parallel with the plural reality of Tehran
